PhilanthroCorp’s Services for Donors

"Stewardship is of course not limited to my paycheck - I want to steward everything I have - that includes my IRA, my home equity, even my life insurance. Our goal at PhilanthroCorp is to serve people as they create wills and trusts that fulfill their goals for heirs and the Lord's work, while using tools that Congress has set up to eliminate unnecessary taxes." Greg Ring - CEO PhilanthroCorp

Through proper planning, we’re helping friends of ministries, like Officer's Christian Fellowship, to get involved in what God is doing in the most efficient way possible. We'll help you pay fewer taxes and give more from the same base of resources. It becomes an incredible “win-win” situation for both you and the ministry receiving the gift.

Congress has set up tools and avenues and trusts that encourage philanthropy. We are simply making those tools known and available to Officers' Christian Fellowship's members so that instead of sending money to the government for taxes unnecessarily, you can give it to Officers' Christian Fellowship or other ministries you care about.

Complete estate planning addresses many issues related to taxes, family inheritance, and charitable giving. We help people work through questions like, “What happens with my IRA when I die? I’ve heard that it can be taxed at as high as 70 percent! How do I set up guardianships for my children? How much inheritance should I give to my children, and at what ages? Should I treat all my children equally? How can I transfer my business to my children?” We’ll explore these important issues and others in your estate planning process.

Our planned giving practice starts by focusing on the needs of the donor. Most donors we have worked with have three common areas of personal concern: Taxes, Family and Impact.

  • Taxes: Three critical categories of taxes -- income; capital gain, and estate taxes
  • Family: Passing values and wealth to your children
  • Impact: Making a lasting impact through ministries that have been important to you and your loved ones

We feel these needs are the starting point for building an effective charitable estate plan. Once these objectives are met, we can easily re-deploy dollars that would otherwise have gone to pay taxes, to instead benefit your heirs and ministries of your choosing.

PhilanthroCorp focuses on helping you walk through issues of retirement income, inheritance, wealth transfer, transfer of values, and other very critical issues. We find that many times people are stymied about making estate planning decisions because they do not know the answers to these very important subjective questions. Many of our clients have found our approach to be the most significant part of their planning.

If you are a supporter of Officers' Christian Fellowship, we will offer you, without obligation, an initial conversation with one of our Estate Specialists. This gives us an opportunity to review your current situation and tell you very simply whether or not we would be able to help.
